As you pull into the parking lot your stomach flutters, as if ten butterflies have just emerged from their cocoons and are wanting to take their first flight.
The day is bright and spring is in the air. The light breeze brushes your arm as you get out of your car.
You know exactly where to go in and head for the door - part apprehensive and part excited.
You actually have no idea what to expect from this experience.
“It is so fun and the the stories are so powerful”, your friend Jess gushed about after last years event.
“But, what do we do there?” you asked, confused.
“It’s hard to explain. I mean you eat, meet people and hear stories and leave feeling so good. It’s a whole experience”, Jess responds. “You have to go to know what I mean”.
So this year you said “yes”. And here you are, approaching the doors and already you can see the warmth, feel the excitement, sense the buzz.
“Welcome!” a kind voice greets you as you walk in. “We’re so glad you’re here!”
A Live Storytelling Experience…
Rooted in your story.
Rising into who you are becoming.
A live storytelling experience that leaves you feeling rooted and ready to rise.
You don’t just attend Mothertelling. You arrive one way and you leave another.
You come carrying the invisible weight of motherhood - the stories you’ve lived, the ones you haven’t told and the ones you didn’t even know you needed to hear.
You leave feeling steadier.
More understood.
More like yourself.
This is a day created for you to exhale, to be moved, to laugh and cry and to remember who you are beyond the roles you carry.

Why Mothertelling Exists
Motherhood is beautiful.
And it’s brutal.
And too often, it’s lived in silence.
Most mothers are carrying stories no one ever asks to hear - the becoming, the breaking, the surviving, the loving.
When those stories stay trapped inside us, we start to feel invisible.
Disconnected.
Alone in rooms full of people.
Mothertelling exists to give those stories a home.
A place where women are seen.
Where voices are honoured.
Where listening becomes an act of love.
And when those stories are finally spoken something in us begins to heal.
The Mothertelling Experience
Storytelling + Book Celebration + Workshop
This day is a whole experience.
You leave rooted in your story and rising into your power
with a deeper connection to yourself,
and the quiet knowing: my story matters too.
You will witness storytellers sharing vulnerably from the stage and from the pages of their book. You will also get an opportunity to let your own creative juices flow and tap into your own memories to find stories you have.
You arrive carrying more than you realize.
You leave rooted in your story and rising into who you are becoming.
Jessica, Mothertelling Attendee
“What an incredible experience. Truly. I actually booked my ticket last minute as my sister in law was a story teller. I really went in to support her but ended up so tuned in and in tears with every single story teller. Everyone so different yet so relatable. It was beautiful and I literally cannot wait to attend then next one!”

The Heart Behind Mothertelling.
Mothertelling was created because I saw how many women were carrying entire lifetimes of stories with nowhere safe or meaningful to put them.
As a teacher, storyteller, mother, and community-builder, I’ve spent years watching what happens when people are finally given the space to speak and be heard.
Everything in me believes this: Stories are not just meant to be told. They are meant to be held.
Mothertelling is a growing ecosystem of events, programs, and spaces where people can find their voice, build their confidence, and tell their stories with courage.
And the Main Stage Experience is the place where it all comes together.
Step Into the Room Where Your Story Belongs
If something in you has been quietly whispering
I need this —
trust it.
Mothertelling Main Stage Experience is not just a day on the calendar.
It’s a pause.
A turning inward.
A remembering of who you are beneath everything you carry.
Come for the stories.
Stay for the connection.
Leave with your own story finally beginning to unfold.
We would be honoured to hold this space for you.
