“I decided to join Courtney for Mothertelling because she’s incredible and I see her vision so clearly. I believe in the power of storytelling, authenticity and sharing our truth… Week after week I showed up to our calls and connected with other women, and I realized I wasn’t alone. The connection with this group was more than I bargained for and no longer was this a me thing, it was so much bigger than that. We were in this together and for an important purpose. Tell your stories. The world needs them”.

The Mothertelling vision was birthed alongside my first daughter 7 years ago when moms shared their stories with me while we spent time in the NICU. Their messages helped me feel connected. They helped me feel seen and understood at a time when I felt alone.
I knew from that moment I wanted to bring mothers together to share true stories of motherhood so we could connect deeply through shared experiences.
I wanted to develop a supportive community with people who understood the joys, challenges, struggles and triumphs of motherhood.
I wanted moms to feel celebrated in all that it means to be a mom. That is Mothertelling - the experience, the community.

“Ever done something and it ended up not being what you expected? Not what you expected in a way that it was so much more than you imagined it could be? When it came time to share my story with everyone in our virtual class I discovered they all wanted me to do well. They listened, they shared, they nodded and they told me what I needed to hear. We shared more, laughed lots, shed tears and we connected. Connected in a profound way. The part I didn’t expect were these connections and friendships”.

As much or a little as you want. If you are preparing to tell your story at one of our events you will need to commit more time to rehearsal and memorization. If you are finding or crafting your story you may need more time for creativity. Coming live to the Group coaching calls and Office hours will be really beneficial but committing beyond that is up to you.

I’m glad you asked. The answer is no. Although we will be focusing on stories of motherhood and the majority of us will be moms, the tools and techniques taught will be beneficial to anyone wanting to develop their storytelling and publlc speaking skills.

Maybe you aren’t ready to tell that story yet… Although storytelling is therapeutic it is not therapy. We have designed this program to help you tell your story not heal you trauma. Working with your story will help you but it is not a replacement for real therapy. We are happy to help guide you to trusted professionals if that is what you think you need first ♥️
The beauty of storytelling…
Stories capture and preserve your memories. So, save your memories and share your stories.
People want to hear your stories - your children, your friends and family, other moms.
Our stories need to be told.
They need to be preserved.
They need a space to be celebrated and that’s right here.
The Mothertelling membership is community. A supportive group of women coming together to nurture something that has been part of our DNA for centuries.
It’s about slowing down time as you collect daily memories preparing for stories.
It’s about flexing your creative muscles as you explore writing, reading, speaking and playful techniques to let you have fun on your journey!
Be supported as you go on a journey of self discovery remembering what this life journey is all about - sharing, connecting and celebrating.
